3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Beachwood; aroma was funky, tart and slightly bready. Flavor was surprisingly light, with bread and yeast, with some tartness at the end.
Pour on tap at Choice City, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, tart lemon, some slight yeast into some floral, grassy notes, touch of citrus and white fruit notes in there as well. Taste was tart lacto, some oak into some earth, spice, touch of citrus, white fruit, finishing slightly tart, dry. GarrettB (1657) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 12, 2015
June 19th, 2013 - I have to agree with other Ratebeerians - this is less of a saison and more of a berlinerweisse, on the consumer end of things at least. In the cruel, harsh light of my iPhone’s flash bulb this beer looks almost milky, with a thick, corn flake colored opacity and a relatively thin off-white head, and smells curiously of lime. It’s not a key lime pie kind of lime, or even a freshly squeezed lime kind of smell - just like, a distressed lime. The tartness comes in the flavor, where a thin palate somehow floats an incredibly tart brew that squeezes the tongue high and dry until a crispy, dry finish of tortilla chips. The whole of the experience is like downing a tart, tangy, lime based salsa or chutney. It’s a fun brew, and one of the more interesting beers coming out of Green Flash in recent months, and would pair extremely well with food and beach settings. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 10, 2014
"Not very saison like...more like a berliner weisse in color, feel, aroma and flavor. Tart, not quite sour, with light hay and spices coming through just a bit. Very refreshing."

On tap at Dexters, pours a clear light gold and a thin head, the aroma is a ton of barnyard and wet blanket, the flavor has a lot of must and dirt like notes on the front end with a tart dry finish with slight fruit touches, really kind of one note and not a great one, didn’t really enjoy this one. bergstaden (3180) - Røros, NORWAY - JAN 15, 2014
Golden with an off white head - Light sour and malt aroma - Light refreshing sourness with some malts as well - Short sour finish - This was good and very refreshing Leighton (22304) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2014
Draft at Plan 9 Alehouse - Escondido. Pours clear yellow with a light, white cream head. Light acidic lemon in the nose with hints of dry wheat. Light sweet flavor with quick lemony tang, some lemon juice, mellow acidity, light pale malt sugars and straw bitterness. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Very clean to finish with more restrained lemony tartness. Lovely and highly drinkable. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - DEC 9, 2013
on draft, tastes like a berliner, lightly tart, thin body, wheat flavors, nothing really says saison, but its a great base berliner DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - OCT 19, 2013
