Draft at the Happy Gnome. Green tinged gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of passion fruit, musty basement, and floral perfume. Flavors of melon, quackgrass, pale malt, juniper bough, and faint vanilla extract. Medium bodied with an assertive bitterness. Decent, but a bit odd.

bhensonb (16122) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 17, 2017
Tap at Cap Hop Shop. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma is mild citrus with some pale stone fruit. Med body at least. Flavor is breadily supported, dry and bitter. Dang bitter. Going with mixed fruits for flavor, but there must be a dose of evergreens for this much bitter to submerge the fruits. This is comparable to that hoppy stuff originating in the foothills East of Sacramento.

Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 12, 2017
On draught at Winking Lizard. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium thick bright white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with a resiny hops character and notes of citrus and roast malt in the background. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

32oz crowler pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up pink grapefruit, grassy hops, a layer of pine, some dank and then faint mintiness. The taste delivers a pleasing load of spicy bitter hoppy grassy dankness blended into somewhat juicy ripe orange and tangelo. To midway it picks up a malt sweetened and blunted woodiness amid the dank weedy hops. I'm liking how this comes together.
