Enoy a SoCal summer year round with Tangerine Soul Style IPA. This delectable brew is a one-way ticket to taste bud paradise. Relax and take in the brilliant golden orange color and fresh aroma of effervescent tangerine and orange. Tangerine zest carries throughout, accented by bright, flowery tropical flavors and a sweet finish. Brewed with American caramel malts and a blend of Simcoe, Citra and Cascade hops, this is a beautiful brew to behold.

I previously rated the straight up Soul Style as a 4.0. This "Tangerine" version was good, a very drinkable IPA, but fell short of my expectation of "Soul Style plus some hopefully sweet tangerine". It poured cloudy (which I actually like) with a nearly two inch rocky head that held shape up above the rim (very cool). Definitely picked up some tangerine in the aroma, some zest in the taste, but neither to the degree I had hoped, i.e. not juicy. To be clear -- still a Green Flash fan.

Tangerine all out the taste and aroma. Some notes of floral hops and malt as well. If we are talking about IPA - average. If this is fruit beer - masterpiece. Score is somewhere in between

Not a bad IPA, but not exceptional. Bright orange, cloudy with a thick white head. Tangerines certainly, some orange and caramel. Floral aroma. Tried at the Beercade in 2017.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a tiny white head. Aroma of orange zest and grapefruit. Taste is orange zest, grapefruit, floral notes, wet dog. Flavor seems a bit artificial.

Bottle. Orangy pour with thick head. Some tangerine in the aroma but this has more of an orange flavor. Not sweet at all. Nice bitterness of fruit peeling. Pretty good brew to have on a hot summer night.

On draft at iTap. Piney and citrus peel aroma. Pours clear orangey golden with frothy head. Palate is full and, moderate carbonation. Tastes of orange peel, finishes fresh and bitter like a classic west coast IPA. I honestly don’t taste much tangerine, but this is a crisp and refreshing beer to enjoy when it’s hot out.

Pours a murky gold, lots and lots of suspended particulate in this guy, thick foamy ivory head. Aroma is is nice, about as balanced as an IPA aroma can be, fresh citrus, sweet breadiness, peach, summer fruits. The tangerine really identifies itself in the taste, sweet with an easy zest, not aggressively citric. Nice bitter bite in the finish. Easy drinking, refreshing.

Poured from a tap. Murky orange color (resembles a glass of orange juice), medium white head, mild lacing. Mild hops aroma with a light tangerine undertone. Medium body with a light citrus flavor and a mildly sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft to taster in a flight from notes. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have bigger tangerine citrus, pith, lightly toasted pale malts, light caramel, lightly floral, decent.

rader58 (916) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - MAY 1, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours unfiltered orange in color. Aroma of orange peel, lemon zest, hint of grass. Flavor of orange, citrus, spruce. Has a nice bitterness in the middle of citrus peel and a sweeter finish.
