3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ Raja Liquors in Livermore, CA. The pour: Good caramel color, with very good head retention. The bouquet: some good maltiness, breadiness, and fresh yeastiness, as a trippel should be. The palate: creamy, I agree with the banana aroma, but also with hints of fuits such as peaches or nectarines. The hoppiness that come through lets you know this is a "California" brewed trippel. The finish is mild and pleaseant. This is a slighlty lighter version of a Rochefort trippel. Great job!
Bottle, pours a hazy golden color with a 1-2 finger white head. Medium carbonation. Smell and taste are oranges, booze, apricot, honey, wood, and random herbs. The alcohol was easily noticed in this one. Wasn’t a big fan of this offering from GF Svesse (8731) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2016
(Bottle) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of orange peel, marzipan, mandarin, honey, spicy hops and a whiff of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, marzipan, orange, mandarin, dried apricots, tropical fruit, honey and a balanced spicy bitterness in a finish with a slight alcohol glow. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made tripel. Nice one. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 19, 2016
On tap at brewpub. A very cloudy, slightly coppery orange with a short lived white head. Aroma is pear, peach, vanilla, sweet bread. Flavor is peach, pear, oldish, vanilla. Finish is lemon, sweet cake. Lingering lemon, grapefruit, some bitter notes. Medium to full body, weak to average carbonation. OminouSC2 (832) - Mora, SWEDEN - JUL 7, 2016
Orange color, unclear. Caramel malt with spices and fruity hops. Caramel malt taste, spice and yeast. A bit simplistic. Garrold (5498) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2016
Bomber. Picked up at Beermoth, Manchester, about two years ago. Gold, with a little haze. Some baby floaters. Ring and film of white head. Nose has barley sugar sweets. Dried peach and nectarine. Not unlike a peach crumble, really. Hints of biscuit malts, and light, autumnal spice. Taste is sweet, fruity and phenolic. Some spice. Some light bitterness. Full mouthfeel, but not to the tune of 9.7%. Sweet, spicy finish. Hint of fruity bitterness. Nicely refined tripel.

This was a really good beer. Pours a vibrant and opaque amber hue with a big frothy white head. Aromas consisting of fruit (apricot, peach, light citrus) and some funk. Good normal Tripel flavors with some noble hop presence as well; giving it a slight Bohemian Pilsner-like finish. Medium bodied. oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light lemony taste, with some yeasty notes, and a good hop flavor. ADfan (870) - Orange County, California, USA - JAN 21, 2016
In the glass the beer is a hazy orange color with a nice head. The aroma has some sweetness and sugar that come through. There is also some maltiness that shows up. Taste is smooth with bananas, apricots and then candied sugar. Roasted malts come through on the long finish. ByTheirLimpin (321) - New York, USA - JAN 13, 2016
Yup! from a bomber. Poured a hazy orange sunset. Frothy head. Stuck my nose in the glass and got kicked in the head with a boozy fruity boot. First taste is thick, tart cherry that gets balanced by the dryness of the nose. Fine fizz on the tongue. Long warm finish...."Wow, that beer is quite a mouthful!" she says. 22oz bottle on 25-Dec-2015, purchased at De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Slightly hazy golden orange amber colour with a thick long lasting white head. Full to medium body and carbonation. Aroma of sweet fruit, pine, yeast, spices and malt. Flavour of fruit, sweet malt, hops and spices. Smooth. A pretty good West Coast tribute to a Belgian trippel.
