Bottle. Big hop aroma and big bitter flavor make this a well-crafted and enjoyable IPA. Frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting. Amber, hazy body. The aroma is full of grapefruit, orange juice, orange peel, pineapple and resin. Hints of toasted grain. The flavor is lightly sweet, moderately bitter and moderately acidic. The finish is bitter. Medium to full body with a velvety texture. Lively carbonation. This reminded me of Alpha King, with a sweeter aroma and flavor. Very nicely done. Skeegle (566) - Maryland, USA - JUN 17, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2008 This was a beautiful IPA that is nearly exactly like Bear Republic’s Racer 5. It literally tastes exactly like it, though I prefer this one for its lack of too much pineyness. This is one very citrussy beer, and that is always always a great thing in my mouth’s book. It pours a cloudy orange with chunks of yeast chunking around and it has so much flavor it draws the mouth water out. Just great, can’t believe I waited so long to try this one out. robforbes (2292) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - JUN 17, 2008

look is of a creamy caraeml.
smell is sweet, hops.
taste is bitter, hops, some citrus.
Poured a beautiful cloudy copper with a nice head. Hops are right there. Great except for the finish, a it is bit too hopyy for my taste. Headbanger (4022) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2008
12oz bottle(courtesy of RSRIZZO)-A light copper body with a loose off white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of this medium bodied brew is of the same with a bitterness and a dryness. Very good and drinkable IPA.

Cloudy copper in color with a foamy off-white head. The nose shows off citric and herbal hops. In the mouth it is medium-bodied and dry with a lot of bitterness through the midpalate and finish. Quite tart and refreshing this would be perfect for a summer barbeque as the bitterness calls for fatty food. Boutip (6692) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 13, 2008
Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry: Poured a deep cloudy copper color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bitter and citrus hops is dominating with a nice malt base also noticeable. Taste is a mix between some citrus and bitter pacific hops with a neutral but still perceptible malt base. Full body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. While this is a very enjoyable IPA, I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the presence of floral and grapefruit hops would have been more discernable. joekfsu (138) - Boardman, Ohio, USA - JUN 13, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange, low clarity, with 3 cm of off white foamy head that is slowly diminishing. Aroma is mostly citrus with floral notes. Initial flavor is piney and citrusy hops, not much else though. More citrus in the finish, dry aftertaste. Light carbonation, light to medium body, lots of lacing, and a hint of alcohol appreciated. Drinkable but you better love nothing but hops, solid IPA. Drake (14447) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 10, 2008
Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Hazy orange-amber with a 1 finger head. Big citrus hop aroma. Big hoppy taste with caramel notes. Thick feel. fiver29 (1112) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2008
Bottle pours copper color with off white head. Has a nice floral aroma with some grapefruit added. Mouthfeel is medium with a fair amount of carbonation. Taste is very hoppy and grapefruit like. Almost grassy. This is a very nice IPA.
