Poured an amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left decent lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, pine, citrus, and floral hops as well. Taste of more pine and citrus, light malts, and finished overly bitter. whaleman (2178) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2006 Bright, clear copper body with a soft, foamy off-white head. Pleasant blend of hop aromatics including spice, earth, and grapefruit. Some sweet crystal malt comes through as well. Big, coarse, cruddy flavor, but mostly in a good way, with plenty of malt character. Intense, lingering bitterness. Full-flavored, aggressive and distinct IPA that appeals to me. Greatful for regular access.

Yellow orange with a large white head. Cascade family hop aroma, citrus, pine and floral notes. Malty sweetness up from, complemented by citrus hop notes, fades into a pleasant resinous bitter character in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium and rather dry.

On tap at the 2005 OBF. This was a very fresh, still kinda green hopped IPA, still tasted a bit planty. Medium sweetness up front with a big citrus hop finish, very bitter and crisp. Very nice smooth beer with a very fresh hop taste. chilehead (186) - Laguna Niguel, California, USA - AUG 24, 2005
Deep copper color, thick foamy head. Hops come through on the nose and mouth. Smooth medium body. Much stronger in flavor and alcohol than your typical IPA. Damn good! hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2005
Bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a dark copper color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of citrus (oranges), pine, grapefruit and somewhat spicy. Tastes of grapefruit, citrus, pine and light caramel. Lightly sweet and ending on a not over the board bitterness. 3daddict (139) - Portland, Maine, USA - AUG 8, 2005
Pours a medium light amber with minimal head but obvious lacing. Nice fresh hop aroma. Only slightly bitter to taste and overall a tame but exceedingly drinkable brew. Nice clean floral hop finish. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - AUG 6, 2005
