12.11.2014. 0,355l Bottle. Bougth in Sweden at Systembolaget in Gøteborg. BB August 2014. Dark orange colour with white head. Unclear. Very strong aromas of fresh aromatic hops. Spruce, herbs and pine. Kind of rich with both a malty body and alcohol that gives strength. Aftertaste is bitter with lots of aromatic hops, its not bitter with that dry bitterness. Kind of oily at the end with a kind of softness. Very nice! Bygers (1185) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2014

Punchy IPA, bitterness a little aggressive and malt caramel character seems to clash with hops a little. Otherwise a great flavour packed IPA. slowrunner77 (12594) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 15, 2014
"from label...columbus, cascade, simcoe and centennial hops...and you can taste them all. if this is their regular ipa, i can’t imagine what their imperial is like. has a malty backbone to provide body and a little balance, but this is a big, chewy, citrusy aromatic hop lover’s beer. 3/09-had again, stand by the earlier stuff...got a GF imperial to try side by side. the regular ipa is 95 ibus and you can tell...the imperial is 101...this is one of the better ipas out there. bigger flavor and aroma than many other "imperials". having a hard time believing there are 50+ IPAs higher... 8/11 knocked a tenth and Hop Head Red up a tenth. HHR has been better a few times in a row now."

33 cl lilla Örebro. Vill minnas att denna var en av de bättre ipa jag druckit! Dessutom med min ipa polare Anders!

Very hoppy with a slight off taste. No notable citrus aroma. Might be an old bottle? Nice malt base! Valgreen (768) - DENMARK - SEP 9, 2014

A - Pours hazy copper orange with a small half finger tall white head leaving light rings of lace down the entire glass.
S - Smells of pungent citric hops, fresh cut pine, grapefruit, lightly toasted caramel malt, and some light alcohol burn. A touch sweet with plenty of hops. The definition of a west coast IPA.
T - Starts off with lots of citric hop bitterness slowly giving way to a mix of light caramel malt sweetness, pine resin, grapefruit, and some light alcohol burn. The finish is pretty dry with lots of hop bitterness, lingering on the pallet for some time.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Dry, hoppy, feel with a touch of sweetness creeping in at the very end of each sip. A slight alcohol burn creeps in on every sip as it warms to room temperature.
O - Still one of my favorite west coast IPA’s but not one I could drink daily. It is just too big of a beer for that but when I am looking for an intense hop bomb this is the first beer I look for.
An Opaque copper amber with caramel color head. Great smell, fruit, floral, citrus and pine, Mmmm. Complex hop flavor with each variety showing well, great West coast IPA. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 20, 2014
