UPDATED: NOV 29, 2015 BAB 2013 smells dsicusting... syrupy, medicinal sweet, tastes weak, herbal, some hops, but weird !

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange with a small white head. Aroma is light spiced and herbal. Citrusy and mild peachy. Toasted malty and light fruity. Bitter and crisp hoppy, light peachy to vague citrusy.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2013 Rating for Green Hopping 2012: 75 cl. bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2013. Nice label. Paler golden appearance. Sweetish overripe fruits in the nose, yeast, that herbal green hop thing, bit like forest ground, still getting a bit used to that but it is tame here & easier for me to handle, green stuff. Taste is old lemons, light funk, green, tad stiky, feet / cat piss whatever hops, bitter, BE yeast, some herbalness, green hops. Bit flatter body – not top but for one but the diminished hop nature makes me get more into the green hopping thing. Nicer than the 2011 was it appears going back by my notes. 4 – another irrational score. /////////////// Rating for Green Hopping 2011:75 cl. bottle sampled @ Bruges Beer Festival 2012: hazy golden with a creamy head, taste is rather mellowed out & slightly sweet upfront with the smell being more “hoppy” with a touch of herbal & grassy hops, still sweet Belgian yeast, fruity, touch sweet malt, hint honey-sweetness, field-like quality with the finish going to slightly bitter mellowed out fruity floral hops, slick, easy going, touch different but it has a nice mellowness to it, bitterness in finish is easy going as well. 3.7

Medium white, fine head, leaving some lace over veiled golden beer with a mossy sheen. Ureum-rich hops, cats’ pee (valerian), but also hyacint, spring flower. Herbal flavour, more yeast features. Dry finish. Light to medium bodied, bit slick, soft carbonation. Uuh... where are the hops? Only the nose telling that Target might not yield the target, and the taste that they need to be trebled.
Earlier Rating: 2/4/2012 Total Score: 3.5
Good yellowish, dense head over hazed metallic-golden beer. Some hops, and rincing soap - probably the glass. Served very cold, hence little aromas. Outspoken fresh hops’ flavour, bit herbal and insectoid, but straight and honest. Sweet honeyish malts ever present. Medium bodied, quite slick. Very well-balanced, which is far from evident in this kind of beer. Good!

4/II/2012 75cl bottle @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2012-90)

Cloudy light orange beer, big white creamy head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, cheese, bit of flowers, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bitter, yeasty, cheese, flowers, bitterness prevails. Aftertaste: bit more cheesy, a fruity touch, overripe to rotten fruits, grapefruit and citrus.

Bottle sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 4, 2012
(Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy golden with a smallish, lacy head. Very grainy-malty nose with honey and aromatic-herby hops. Flavor is pale-honey-malty, herby-hoppy, moderately bitter, earthy. Medium body, medium CO2. A quite nice, herby-aromatic brew. 4545
