Appearance - golden with a decent head.
Nose - burnt biscuit. Some orange but a bit astringent.
Taste - more astringent orange and biscuit.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry astringent middle section and finish.

Light haze on a golden blonde pour with a decent off white cap.
Nose is pale malts, straw, lemon rind, grains, hint of bread.
Taste comprises light citric peel, straw, grass, toasted grains, lemon drizzle, touch of herb.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.

Golden colour, thin head. Mellow, primarily malty character, with a slight juiciness.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, anis seed, licorice hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, malty, anis seed, licorice hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
Cask conditioned at The Squirrel, Coventry. Gold with white head. Initially quite thinnish in character but then a light fruity, almost a crisp gooseberry type flavour. Light and dry, the best beer on the day in Coventry, by far.
