Aroma has cereal bready malts and berry hops. It pours a clear dark amber with a white lace top. Soft carbonation. The taste is medium bitter with the classic twiggy finish on the palace. Overall, a very representative English bitter. Smithld1 (324) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2017
That is not ideal. Not ideal at all. I prefer the fullers. Painful. No more. Rune (13508) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2017

Cask at the Webb Ellis Twickenham as Green Jack Gone Fishing ESB. Clear matte amber orange, still with a creamy off white head. Aroma is musty carpet and flannel, grains, breadcrusts. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is pretty resinous and gluey, robust astringent British hop character, musty and woody with a supporting malt backbone that doesn’t quite match the hops, ever so slightly buttery. A bitter for seasoned bitter drinkers. A traditional sip and chat beer. (5-4-6-4-14=3.3) thomat (4144) - Gteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2017
