Light gold colour with a white head. Little aroma. Taste is a little thin with some slight hint of marmalade, and a strongly bitter finish. Very little evidence of any witbier characteristics. No cloves, banana or spices. More like a slightly thin bitter. Not very inspiring.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2016 Bottle from 3at3, drunk at home. Hazy golden brown, with a smattering of white head. Tempting marmalade aroma, with a bit of lemon peel. Taste is a jammy sweet/spicy, simple but delicious. Well judged carbonation lifts the body, and theres a sweet orangeadey hit right at the end. I really enjoyed this, perfect for an autumn evening. Update: Handpull cask at the Sun Inn, Waterbeach. Not changing the rating as still very very good, but the cask version has a sulphurous note that was absent in the bottle.

Cask at the triangle tavern Lowestoft. Pale gold coloured pour with a thin scummy head. Aroma is rough grain husks, little sweet, vanilla, faint orange zest. Flavour is composed of rough cereal, flabby grains, vanilla sweet, tangy citrus. Palate is flabby grainy, moderate to low carbonation. Meh.
