The Summer Dream is a pale summer ale, floral, dry and hoppy brewed with fresh hand picked elderflowers. Our most popular seasonal brew can be available in May if we have a warm spring or late June if its cold. Huge aroma of Summertime!

[email protected] Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is sour apricot, some fruits and mild notes of wood. Flavour is much the same, with pine and apricot being sweetish sour and the fruits and wood giving a bitterness to it.

Cask (gravity dispense), GBBF, August 2005. Mid gold colour with a slight haze. The aroma is more herbaceous than Kew Gardens - heather, nettles (well OK maybe there wouldn’t be too many nettles at Kew), gooseberry leaves, herbs. More spicy, flowery hops in the flavour. Not much malt in evidence. Plenty of juicy fruit - slightly unripe gooseberries. Not that bitter, or full bodied, but noticeably tart, which imparts just the refreshing edge no doubt intended. Would slip down a treat on a hot day.

Cask at GBBF Golden, slight haze, bit of hay/flora (roses?) on aroma, some citrus, sharp hop on end but did not have the balance and structure to make this a better beer

Sample at GBBF 2016, Wednesday. Clear goldrn beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy floral aroma, citrus, grapes, caramel, some peach. Hoppy fruity flavor, peach, pine apples, some red grapes and tangerines. Quite nice.

Cask (GBBF2010)
6 SImple mashy aroma, some light fruits.
3 Pale, small head.
7 Not big, but crisp and distinct tastes - pale grains and delicate hops.
4 Soft palate, carbonation pleasant. As you’d expect from a golden, the finish is pleasant hoppy. 14 Like it. DIdn’t know it had elderflowers, that explaans the light fruitiness in the aroma.
