Tried at the Bourne festival 2015. Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is malt and caramel but the taste a touch overly sweet for me.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2015 Cask, Woolpack Beer Festival, 4th April 2015. Great lacing, bronze colour. Perfume, nectar, honey and flowers on aroma. Taste is honey, super clean malt, awesome balance, dry, smooth, fruity yeast esters, a complete lesson in English session beer. Benchmarking stuff. Awesome.

Cask at the Anchor, Little Downham. Copper with a large and somewhat loose cream-coloured head. Malty, caramel, hazelnut nose. Taste is sweetish bitter with a hint of sour. Aftertaste has a more pronounced hoppy bitter. Solid in its way but incredibly boring.

smells of nothing, dark amber with no head, just taste like malty water, was this really a CAMRA champion beer?
