Nice standard bitter that hits the mark. Some people are wanting more than it was intended but it is an easy session beer. If you want something bigger or different, this will not be the one.
Sharp balanced full bodied bitter. Little to dislike here. Classic Best Bitter Camons (12441) - Hasselager, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2017

Cask, 1/2 pint, hand-pulled, Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow (18 Apr 2016), very weak toffee aroma, good bubbly off-white head with good thick lacing, toffee, caramel, creamy, smooth, good carbonation, sweet malty aftertaste. The_Osprey (7980) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2016
Cask, handpull at The Railway Putney as ’Green Jack Trawlerboys Best Bitter’, 4.6%. Dark amber orange, clear, still, foamy dense white head, thick lacing. Aroma is airy and light, some apple. Body is smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is light, bready, apple peel, varnish, some tang, some twig. Very plain by comparison to, say, the Nethergate bitters I had on the same day. Lacking the character and drinkability that the best beers in the style possess. mR_fr0g (12067) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2015
Cask at the triangle tavern Lowestoft. Mid amber orange coloured pour with a thin fading head. Aroma is really odd, spicy cinnamon and ginger, caramel, brandy snap sugars. Flavor is composed of medium sweet caramel, toffee apple, spicy orange rind, ginger. Interesting beer. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition. Cask. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, fruits, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, yeast, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish. gegwilson (3701) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2015
Bottle in the Sweffling White Horse, Suffolk. Pours amber with a few off white suds. Aroma of slightly farty apricot. The taste is better - toasty malt with some apricot and citrus with a little light spice and maybe just a hint of aniseed in the finish. A decent bitter.
