I tasted this beer along with 5 other Green Jack Ales at the Triangle Tavern in Lowestoft. This was by far the best of the 5 I tasted, a nice colour and a lovely taste, was very tempted to bring a box of this back to London, but i resisted

Amber, bright, bubbly head. Not much aroma but a really nice creme brûlée malt, juicy hop character. Totally suffolk in character, actually, a lot like Adnams. 4 7 8 4 17 Kept going back to this one.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2015 Cask, Woolpack Beer Festival, 4th April 2015. Great lacing, bronze colour. Perfume, nectar, honey and flowers on aroma. Taste is honey, super clean malt, awesome balance, dry, smooth, fruity yeast esters, a complete lesson in English session beer. Benchmarking stuff. Awesome.

A very good pint served from handpump in the Triangle Tavern, Lowestoft. An easy drinking but full of flavour bitter.

Cask at Craft Beer Co., London. Pours clear, amber0ruby with a fine, white foam head. Basic but rich bitter with mild dry fruits and toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate dry and toasty leaves in the finish, some toasty sugars, faint dry orange citrus. Easy beer, good balance, good condition. No problems here.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear copper, thick off-white head. Aromas of biscuit and light spice. Medium body. Bitter finish. Decent session bitter.

Cask pull at Craft Beer Co. Thanks for the tip on this one, Ian! Another fine, understated, superbly fresh brew. Fairly bright amber pour, well bedecked with foam. Soft notes of tea and caramel in the nose. Nice full mouthfeel, pleasantly bitter notes on the palate. Flavors give off some brighter fruit to complement what’s promised in the aroma. Enjoyable.

BB End 06, 2013; sampled on September 21, 2012
Clear amber color, smallish yellow head. Sweet, fruity, some red berries scent. Malty, sweet, fruity, caframel taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.
