Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Mostly clear amber with huge fluffy ivory head. Aroma is yeasty and grassy. Also picking up some of the sweetness from the honey and a bit of peppery spice. Moderately sweet, really enjoying the honey here along with some citrus and pepper. Crisp clean mouthfeel. Overall fairly nice. This bottle may be a bit past its prime; much of the original hop character may not still be present. wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Pours hazy amber. The head on this one was outstanding. Nose is fresh flowery hops, spice, light testy funk, light fruits and some spicy hop notes. Flavor is Light flowery hops, light to medium bready malt notes. Light body high carb and finished moderately dry. Ok. kinda meh actually shadey (2148) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 29, 2013
750ml bottle. Melon orange pour with a big chunky head of white froth that reduces to generous lacing. Aroma is big grassy hops and a light sweetness. This seems better than the rating suggest. I’m enjoying it and that’s good, because I’m about to go 3 weeks without beer. emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - SEP 10, 2013
Thanks JCB. Two fingers of thick white head and a soft amber pour. Herbal and vegetal bready nose. Weird herbal and muddled flavor. A touch astringent, minty and a touch vegetal and bready. Medium light body and dry with a touch of diacetyl. Light and dry body. not a fan . magsinva (1423) - Virginia, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Bottle from Brusin Ales - pours cloudy orange with a significant foaming, like the whole glass filled with foam. Aroma is barnyard with some citrus, orange notes. Taste is that sweet, dry, bitter, and dry. Overall, a solid collaboration, none of the brewers are really dominate which is what you’d like to see.

Bottle from Brusin Ales. Pours golden with a huge white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Lots of carbonation. A bit peppery of the nose. Very hoppy on the tongue with more than a hint of the barnyard. Finishes clean. Very nice! alexsdad06 (10651) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - AUG 16, 2013
750 ml bottle shared by jmborggren. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a large off white head. The aroma and flavor have grass, citrus, pale malts, light peppery, hints of sweet malts with a dry finish. I noted a strange bubble gum character, but maybe I didn’t rinse my glass. Got this beer on a trip to Asheville. Very carbonated and has mountains of head that takes a while to dissipate. The color is a hazy golden orange. Smells like a classic saison with a slight hop presence. Tastes fruity with a distinct saison flavor. Solid beer.

Hey hey, JCB. Gracias. Citrusy hops... a bit of lemon and a touch of grass. Some apricot. A tad sweet and leaning closer to a sweet IPA than a saison. Wanted more of the funk and more saison yeast. Didn’t hate it by any means, but hard to live up to the hype of this cool label and so many great breweries. Too many cooks in the kitchen for this to turn out like a very distinctive brew. drfabulous (8482) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 8, 2013
750 from Bruisin Ales. Light orange/straw color. Yeasty. Malty. And that bit of hoppy profile that borders it between IPA/saison. Some fruit in the flavor. Interesting and worth trying.
