on tap at Dirty Jack’s. Pours a deep red. The nose is very sharp with distinct chili notes, but doesn’t seem to be hot, just peppery. Some subtle smoke and caramel is also noted. I can’t believe how easily this goes down. It’s a kind of meaty beer with a welcome bitterness which is imparted either by the chilies or by hops. The finish is fairly robust with smooth flavors of peppers, meat, wood all coming together. This is one good beer.
