12 oz bottle. Pours copper with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of earthy hops, bready malt and some caramel. Body is medium and smooth. Earthy hops, bready and caramel malt and ripe fruit nicely balanced on the palate. Finish is long and spicy. Great brew.

More like a stout than an amber beer. Caramel flavor as well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer will finish and comes through. Nutty taste and the more you can do the more you get to hang.

Growler. Dark copper color with an off-white head that doesn’t stick around. Malty aroma; sweet flavor of caramel with some light hop. Finish is a little heavy. A solid good-drinking beer.

Medium brown with an off white head. Malty toast and bread aroma. Nice caramel flavor on the palate, but not at all sweet. Nice hint of hop bitterness on the finish, just for a moment.

Draft to taster at the brewery from notes. Pours a clear orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor had caramel, grass, hay, a hint of fruit and toasted malts. Light bodied, with somewhat dry mouth feel. Decent, but others were better.

Tap. Poured hazy dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.
