Aroma: The aroma is strong toffee, caramel, and burnt toast, with some nutty notes as well
Appearance: It pours a mahogany color, mostly clear, with a clean, frothy, beige head
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, heavy malty, without much bitterness at all
Palate: The body is medium-plus, with a soft-to-average carbonation, and a smooth finish
I’m watching a surprisingly good first version of the college football championship while I drink this. Solid beer. Very malty. Lacks balance.
From a bottle. Pours clear reddish copper with a fizzy off white head. Tastes earthy, nutty, like dry wood, toffee, and toasted bitterness. Light body and low carbonation. Smells nutty, malty, and like dry toast.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready and toasted malts, caramel, faint floral notes, faint fig, and a slight touch of woodiness. Flavor is malty and mostly dry with a touch of toffee, some dark fruit sweetness, and light hops. Medium body and carbonation. jbruner (4799) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Pours a clear golden brown from the bottle with thin ring of bubbly off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of nice roast and caramel malts with fruity english yeast behind it. Taste is nice for the style, smoky caramel, mild yeast character. Clean and easy to drink, nice for the style. Panzuriel (2306) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - NOV 24, 2014
