750ml bottle, shared by doggones. It was labeled 6.8%, according to my notes. Totally hazy orange-red color. Little, bubbly off-white head. Dots of lace. Bigger body. Smooth, lightly soft, crisp carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Good, bigger sour taste. Some woody, oaky aroma, light citrus. Big sour bite, I like it. Lemon, oaky, funk, citrus aroma. Awesome sour. b3shine (9010) - Indiana, USA - NOV 2, 2013
750 ml bottle to taster (shared by Dogbones). Looks good; a cloudy amberish orange with thin off-white lacing. Smells good too; tart and funky. Tastes likeit smells, only not quite as robust on the funk, and a bit sweeter. Good on the palate. Tasty. jbardin (161) - New York, USA - MAY 26, 2012
On tap at Thirsty Monk in Asheville during Asheville Beer Week. As far as I know this is the only true sour beer brewed in Asheville. Definitely has the underlying profile of a red ale, but hops are replaced by funk. Pretty nice beer.
