Draught at brewery. Dark orange in color with caramel and some sweetness to it. Decent. Darwenus (1159) - Virginia, USA - NOV 25, 2016
I think this is one of the better Oktoberfest beers I’ve had, although I’m not a fan of marzens generally This beer brings a sweet, rich quality to the style that makes it just highly drinkable. It pours bright golden color with a fair amount of foam. The aroma is sweet, with molasses and sugary malt very prominent. That’s the flavor, too. None of it really segregates to the front or back of the tongue, it’s just this swirl of mild hops, a little something like honey, a bit of pineapple... it all adds up to an unassuming but decidedly sweet brew that I found refreshing. thegreenrooster (4448) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 19, 2016
Pour is a dark brown with a large white head. Aroma is a toasted grain with a little tootsie roll sweetness. Flavor is a very heavy mouth feel at first then comes some molasses and something like a fig. This is way sweeter than the style should be. Shag (3026) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - OCT 8, 2016
Amber color with a white head. Aroma contains dark fruit and caramel. The flavor is malty and spicy. Some caramel and herbal notes present. Overall this is a great beer. tnkw01 (1756) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Bottle. Amber-copper in Color with a medium head. Aroma is roasted grains and rather malty. Taste is a malty flavour, slightly sweet up front with a nice balanced finish.

The force is with this beer. Green man is alot of fun and this autumn ale is no different. Great on a fall night. Itzjerm (2959) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - NOV 21, 2014
A nice brown ale. But not much of an octoberfest. Malty, not as sweet as you would expect.. Thin fading head. Flavor of fall. Overall an enjoyable beer. chinchill (5073) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 19, 2014
12 oz bottle of the traditional Oktoberfest bier.
Body should have higher clarity but has a fine dark amber tone and a durable head.
Aroma: mild and pleasing, with some spicy/herbal hops mixed in with the light roasted and caramel malts.
Flavor: mild and pleasing. I’d like more boldness but, as usual for style, this beer is more designed for ’session’ drinking than slow sipping.
