Bottled. Golden colour, with medium-thick head. Strong and nice hops flavour and taste. light bitterness, with a rond body. Really enjoyable! ALLOVATE (3004) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 3, 2010
From the bottle, cool but not chilled, and into a pint glass. I don’t know why I overlooked it as it was hidden away amongst cellared bottles for the past year or so. Pour started off gently then the head erupted to be half beer and half billowing white foam that raises up a good inch from the lip. A curtain of white suds cling to the glass as it empties, the head completely steadfast. Aroma is feint; it’s floral, and zesty, hints at rose petals, honeydew and cantaloupe, and leavened, unbaked bread. Similar in the mouth but with good malt flavours bursting through, a sweet, candy musk front, and a raspy, bitter edge in tail reminiscent of vine clippings. The body is light but it holds and feels well on the palate, the head adding a creaminess to it. Good length, floral and candyish again, and just that little bit drawing as to be juicy and mouthwatering. Keeps on impressing for the remainder. I’m dumbfounded to find it rate so low as I feel this to be a stunningly good Keller. It lacks the raw, meatiness of some of the finer of its style but on its own I’m left just wanting more. Very nice, very refreshing! (50cL, BBE Oct. ’09, The International Beer Store, W. Leederville) hawthorne00 (3904) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2010
Bottle. Very cloudy gold with a towering dull white head. High bead. Aroma of hay, pears, lemon and grass with a fair bit of vinegar must. Mild taste has orchard fruity sweetness with a yeasty sour note and a little drying spicy bitterness at the end. Pleasant and rustic. mkel07 (5845) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 2, 2010
500ml bottle. Cloudy bright apricot colour with an even layer of white foam. Sweet fruity aroma that makes you want to taste. Dry with a long strong finish and unusual taste which is hard to define flavour, musty and dusty maybe. KapitiCritique (379) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JAN 28, 2010
Bottled and refrigerated at minimal temperatures. Insubstantial at best. Leaves no impression. Weak and barely qualifies as a beer.

My first kellerbier outside Franconia. a good effort with some fatal flaws. cloudy orange with lots of carbonation and a loose fluffy head - weissbier level. some nice elements in the aroma - freshly boiled wort, sharp hops, doughy yeast. but oh no there’s medicine and burning plastic, at a very low level, but it’s enough to ruin it. in the mouth there’s strong malt, the yeast gives it a grainy creaminess, and it’s quite bitter, but the same off flavours ruin the finish. had to tip it out. a shame as it had everything else going for it. gam (3909) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 26, 2009

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and herbs. The flavour is malt, citrus and herbal tones. Light, airy mouthfeel with mild bitterness. Different and tasty. kempicus (343) - Bakewell, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2009
After much prompting by Greig i finally tried this beer and i LIKED it! I wrote a few notes but i was kinda trying to watch the TV at the same tim...looks great in the glass, pale straw colour, cloudy, pretty good dense head. i found it to be zesty spritzy clean and refreshing with a tartness that i enjoyed. best Green man beer i’ve had! It is quite fascinating to read the other ratings on this beer; they seem to be quite distinctly different from one another in many cases. My experience began with a hazy golden pour, moderate dense white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, and creamy. As it breathes, more orchard fruit character comes forward in the aoma. The palate is light, again with orchard fruits (pear, apple), with some low spicy notes. Medium bitter finish of short length. Really quite nice, light, and refreshing. I certainly would have this again.
