UPDATED: SEP 8, 2005 Tasted 15/08/2005. 500ml bottle.
Very pale gold, almost green hued. Lacey, pure-white, head is tightand holds well. Little visible carbonation. Subtle malt aroma - mostly a fresh lemon and forest aroma. Again, the malt flavour is subtle, with maybe a touch of wheat in there. Lemony, woody, hop flavour with the citrus side lingering. Soft mouthfeel. Very smooth. Fresh, organic and tasty - great effort Steve and Tom. Extra overall points for the bottle recycling project! bozoNZ (778) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 12, 2009
500ml bottle. Looks the goods pale yellow, faint haze but the most brilliant persistant head I’ve seen in ages. Some weird moderate dms characteristics in the aroma. Flavours on the bitter side, slightly metallic and mineral with some lemon soap coating the cheeks. Different but I’m not sure all in a good way. jdpeebs (686) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle. Pleasant lager, with a touch more flavour than your average lager. Nice crisp refreshing finish MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - NOV 27, 2008
Bottle (500ml). Poured clear yellow with a lose, rocky, white head which was fully diminishing. Aroma was of sweet malts with honey, cooked corn faint hoppy notes and a squeeze of lemon. Flavor was a light grassy hop bitterness with lemon citrus, sweet grainy malts and pleasant notes of weeds/grass in the finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation, a dry mouthfeel and a ok finish.

Bottled from the brewery. Golden colour with thin head. Awesome taste, with honey, malt, biscuits taste. Unfortunately the palate is not as great, even if it’s pretty enjoyable. sdriessen (320) - Dunedin, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 24, 2009
Pours slightly cloudy, pale yellow with a soft, white head.
Aromas are of lemon, passionfruit, pineapple and a floral hops. Hints of ginger spice and a straw-like malt.
Flavours are dominated by a nice, hoppy bitterness which is brought down a notch by a honey sweetness. Some slight ginger in the flavours as well.
Finishes dry and hoppy. Clean on the palate and very refreshing indeed! JohnyontheSpot (14) - NEW ZEALAND - MAY 18, 2006
The beer has changed for the better since it was brewed on licence. Now brewed on its own premises it is a great drop. It is a skillfully made, full flavoured lager and I will drink many more...
