On tap at Jack of the Wood, Asheville NC, 6 July 2006. ABV not stated. I wasn’t expecting too much from this one but was pleasantly surprised. Darkish gold colour. Light grassy hop aroma. Biscuity malt and more grassy hop on the palate. Decent body and depth. Very drinkable. Maybe not a world beating Pilsner but a very competent effort.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2007 Draught at brew pub. Pours hazy golden color, with a sizable head, noticeable even in the little sample glass I had. The aroma is full of fruit, and yeast notes. the flavor is indeed very grainy, and fruity. Finishes dry. Immy (1955) - Virginia Beach, USA - OCT 12, 2006
Tap at the Durham WBF. Hazy gold with a big white head. Somewhat sweet, grainy nose, some appley notes. Full grainy flavors, fruitier than expected. Mild bitter finish. One of the better pilseners I’ve had lately. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUN 30, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with thin white head. Hoppy nose reminisceny of apples. Crisp and fruity flavor with a light grainy note in the background. A bit sweet. Okay. NachlamSie (3536) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 16, 2006
draught. Hazy copper pour with a firm white head. The nose is quite sweet of apples and granulated sugar. The flavor brings out more notes of apples and non-descript sweetness which are followed with woody, earthy notes. It’s crisp with no off flavors and displays a great balance, but it’s fairly thin and unexciting.
