Sampled during RBWG Tampa 2015. Hazy reddish pour with a small head. Nose is fairly unique. Cherry cough medicine. Some strange botanicals. Sweet red fruits. Similar flavor. A touch papery and tired. Oily. Cherry fruit lozenges. Definitely boozy. Good under-the-bridge option. Leighton (23693) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2015
Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Thanks to Danny Owl! Pours unclear pink-gold with minimal head. Light fruity notes in the nose, some old wood. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of alcohol, berries, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with some sharp berry notes, tannin, wood. Good one. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 27, 2015
Entering old notes- sampled with RBWG. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Nose is cherry, booze, cough medicine, and some vanilla and sweetness. Flavor hits with all kinds of craziness: cherry, vanilla, citrus, booze, cough syrup, and some nightmare fuel. One for the history books for sure. rbwg2015. Courtesy of drowland, thanks Danny. It pours with a hazy peach to gold body that supports a thin near white head. The aroma offers up loads of oak and then heading into smooth cherry and mild tart tannin like odors. The taste has a nice modest cherry sensation that’s blended with oak and earthy citrus fruit. This comes across pretty nice as the apple – honey – booze – pear sugary esters are off banging around in the background where there are three tubas just sitting there. At RBWG, thanks Danny! Crazy beer….a year old malt liquor on cherry moonshine chips. Weird brown pink color. Cherry, oak, booze. Not terrible at all. burg326 (5675) - Florida, USA - FEB 22, 2015
Poured a light pinkish color with aromas of cherries, booze, bread, and light oak. Flavors were bread and harsh alcohol with some light cherries and a smudge of oak. This growler was over a year old and by far not the worst beer I have had ever. Thanks Danny for the share. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Pours a murky pink. Aroma of cherries, malt and alcohol. Taste malty, alcohol and cherries.
