Draft. Very strong aroma of chocolate. Pours almost black with off white head. Mild bitter taste. asheft (3082) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2017
On tap BJ’s, JAX. Sweet chocolate and red fruit aroma with tons of vanilla. Hazy black under a persistent light brown lacy foam. Bitter chocolate flavour with potent vanilla and red fruit accents. Some toasted hazelnut in there too. Excellent sweet bitter balance. Medium body, medium carbonation, smooth, but still a dry finish. arn8897 (392) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2015
On tap at Kickbacks Jacksonville. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and milk. Very sweet smelling. Taste the same without as much sweetness. Light lacing in the glass. Very nice sweet stout. G_Ram9 (93) - - APR 16, 2015
One of my all time favorite stouts! The aroma is rich with the smell of sweet chocolate and just about makes you salivate. The taste is less sweet than the smell with a bit of chocolate but more complexity. The favors linger on the palate and make you thirst for more. This is a great beer to sip and savor the flavor changes as it warms in the glass. I've only found it on tap at one bar and I can't bring myself to order anything but whenever I go there. Try it!

Draft. Pours dark brown. Nose/taste of Count Chokula cereal, flaked oat, chocolate. Medium body. Ferris (15235) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 24, 2015
Draft - Sweet artificial chocolate, just like the cereal. Jet black with almost no head. Chocolate sweet syrup and cereal. Sweet and horrible, but absolutely true to the name. djd07 (14469) - Houston, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2015
On tap at Green Room. Pours a dark brown with light beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is light roast oatmeal. Thin mouthfeel with a light roast and smoke. Light dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2015 Dark pour with very little head. A sweet chocolate flavor is at the front of the beer but not overpowering and get enjoyable to drink. The tap room fills 32oz growlers for $5, the same price as a pint in the tap room. The peanut and the Chocolate versions of the Shaka stouts are significantly more enjoyable than their original oatmeal stout. LuckyDog (615) - - JAN 10, 2015
Fairly heavy chocolate. Some roast. Not a lot of body.. A little thin for a stout.
