Draft RBWG 2013... Pitch black pour with no head. The bouquet is nearly as thin as the flavor deeply roasted barley, charcoal and a hint of dark chocolate. Light to medium-bodied and thin with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is a well-balanced, mirror image of the aroma - deeply roasted malts and dark chocolate. Short, crisp, clean finish. Way too thin and watery for the style. Give me a milk stout that is silky-sweet and a touch chewy.

On tap BJs, JAX. Sweet chocolate and red fruit aroma with tons of vanilla. Hazy black under a persistent light brown lacy foam. Bitter chocolate flavour with potent vanilla and red fruit accents. Some toasted hazelnut in there too. Excellent sweet bitter balance. Medium body, medium carbonation, smooth, but still a dry finish.

On tap at Kickbacks Jacksonville. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and milk. Very sweet smelling. Taste the same without as much sweetness. Light lacing in the glass. Very nice sweet stout.

One of my all time favorite stouts! The aroma is rich with the smell of sweet chocolate and just about makes you salivate. The taste is less sweet than the smell with a bit of chocolate but more complexity. The favors linger on the palate and make you thirst for more. This is a great beer to sip and savor the flavor changes as it warms in the glass. I've only found it on tap at one bar and I can't bring myself to order anything but whenever I go there. Try it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - Sweet artificial chocolate, just like the cereal. Jet black with almost no head. Chocolate sweet syrup and cereal. Sweet and horrible, but absolutely true to the name.

On tap at Green Room. Pours a dark brown with light beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is light roast oatmeal. Thin mouthfeel with a light roast and smoke. Light dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2015 Dark pour with very little head. A sweet chocolate flavor is at the front of the beer but not overpowering and get enjoyable to drink. The tap room fills 32oz growlers for $5, the same price as a pint in the tap room. The peanut and the Chocolate versions of the Shaka stouts are significantly more enjoyable than their original oatmeal stout.

Fairly heavy chocolate. Some roast. Not a lot of body.. A little thin for a stout.

Draft sample. Poured black color with an average fizzy tan head that was mostly lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy chocolate sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good beer.
