Greenbush equals great beer. They knock it out of the park again with this dark and malty black pirates beer of an ipa. Enjoy. Mainuh_man (292) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 1, 2016
12 Oz bottle. Pours black with a huge light brown head that lingers leaving huge lacing. Aroma is fantastic; smokey, dank, floral hops. Flavor is medium sweet going immediately to lots of piney hops, finishing with ample piney and and citrusy hops with a bit of roast. Fill body with a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, love the aroma, flavor kind of doesn’t live up to it. Still, delicious. 574deadzone (1420) - North Central, Indiana, USA - MAR 8, 2012
On tap. Pours deepest black, slightly brown around the edges, with a finger and a half of tight khaki-brown head. Nose is big grain, slightly roasted, with hints of spice, earth, and stone fruit. An awesome combination. Taste is medium sweet with some bitterness coming through. Not monstrously bitter, but rather well balanced. Palate is full, round, bright in spots with a long bitter finish with a little bite. I’ve been dying to try this and I was not disappointed. Really nice brew and I’ll surely have it again. umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - AUG 1, 2012
Draft at Box Bar. Pours a pitch black color with a thick off white head that lingers. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, pine, and citrus. Taste is very smooth and delicious. Roasty with a solid bitterness, nice amount of pine and citrus hops, and a thick body. Long roasted malt and hoppy finish. Really good black ipa.

Aroma is very bitter and full of hops. It is dark with a light brown head. Taste is very hoppy with plenty of citrus to compliment the hops. Finish is clean and fresh with lingering bitterness. If you’re not used to black IPAs matching the flavor with the darkness of this beer confuses the senses. The all around complexity of this beer makes it one everyone should try.

Bottle from Oxford beer store. Dark body and pine and hop nose. Smooth and crisp even with all that hop and grapefruit taste. Pretty impressive for a new brewery.

Dark brown pour, cream colored head. Bitter earthy hops, roasted dark malts and a slightly smoky finish. Good! strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Bottle. Deep black with a tall pillowy tan head. Nice malt aroma that has roasted but not sweet accents. Medium to full body, smooth, lots of flavor and a short finish. Very good all around. _Myers_ (14) - KC, Kansas, USA - MAY 28, 2015
12 oz pour at watershed in Chicago. Wonderful aroma of pine hops and roasted malt. Tasted fantastic with the same taste as was the aroma with a full bodied mouthfeel. Would definitely, and will drink again. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - SEP 5, 2015
Very dark and very good. Chocolate notes mixed with hearty hops. This is a great example of a black ipa. Must try.
