3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Poured a hazy amber color with an off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, floral, and some honey. Tastes if citrus, caramel, honey, and some toastiness.
Color ámbar, ligeramente turbio, con capa de espuma de un blanco sucio de tres dedos de grosor (muy buena retención). Carbonatación media visualmente. Textura oleosa (parece que va a tener más cuerpo pero no). Aroma a caramelo, resina, pino, miel, vainilla, cítricos.
On tap at the brewpub. Initial aroma said "this is going to be too bitter for you to like". However, I plowed ahead and was pleasantly rewarded with an IPA that was fairly well balanced. The sugar really cuts through the hops without overwhelming them. However, the fact that they are there doesn’t make this beer come off as TOO sweet. It’s really pretty good. At Howells and Hood. In a snifter. Pours caramel brown with no head. Big malty brown sugar hop taste of a double IPA.

Bottle, Ann Arbor, MI. Hazy amber. Herbal caramel aroma with mild resin. Clove and Treacle flavor. Long finish. justkoehn (165) - Michigan, USA - MAR 19, 2017
Poured into pint glass. Little head and lacing. Rich deep brown color. Raisin aroma. Sits lightly on the tongue for imperial IPA. Dried fruity flavor up front that packs a punch to finish.

bottle @ Krg Liquors / Clarksville IN --- MFG:06.20.16 --- Aroma of dark malt. Clear bright amber brown color, beige head that stays at 1", strips of lace. Taste is malt and dark molasses, medium fizz, and a shot of hops to bring things well into balance. Then a brief burst of alcohol warmth. Nothing special here, just a strong, alcoholic IPA that is only okay. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2016

T42 tasting on me Birfaday. Big thanks to Leighton. Very hazy amber beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is smooth, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Caramel - toffee malts, light creamy sweetness. Orange marmalade and mild hop spice. Soft dry finish. A bit malt forward and lacking any hop brightness, but it’s okay.
September 2016 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. As ’Greenbush Brother Benjamin’, 10.1%. Thanks LKS! Orange brown, hazy and still, foamy tan head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is floral, chalky, touch of TCP, boiled sweets. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is sugar syrup, boiled sweets, more sugary than malty, pine and resinous hops, some tangy booze. Quite sweet. Alright for a booze and sugar bomb. (3.0) Theydon_Bois (20136) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2016
Bottle split at Level 42, thanks to LKS, 07/09/16.
Murky amber with a moderate off white head.
Nose is dank hop, herbal, straw, harsh citric rinds, caramel.
Taste comprises bitter tropical fruits, orange rind, pine resin, sharp citric.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with aggressive hop bitterness.
Ok DIPA if a touch overly harsh. mR_fr0g (12879) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2016
