12 oz bottle. Most overcarbonated pour I’ve ever seen; I had a glass full of foam with foam still bubbling out the bottle. After quite a while it settles into a fully hazed amber with an off-white head (obviously quite large). Citrus, floral, earthy aromas. Nice sharp citrus hop flavor, more florals and earthiness, light caramel. Tastes pretty good even if there’s something wrong with it. Will hopefully rerate.

I came across the Greenbush Brewing Co. by chance while driving thru MI last spring. Tried their Dunegras IPA with lunch. Fantastic IPA!!! On a motorcycle trip thru MI this summer, I stopped back in just to enjoy this brew while I was in the area. Excellant local craft brew!!!

12oz bottle pours a hazy orange with an off white head. Piney hoppy taste and aroma. Great ipa

$2 12oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint. Appearance: A very hazy red color with orange around the edges -- bits can be seen floating around, and there’s a little bit of sediment. There’s a two finger of off-white, creamy head that lasts awhile before dying down to about half a finger. Lacing is awesome. Smell: A lot of piney, resinous hops with really no fruit character to speak of. Grassy and earthy. A bit of spiciness comes through as well. Very nice, and smells super fresh. Taste/feel: Follows the nose for the most part, with a good "malt backbone" as they say. IBUs on this are at 67, which is about what I’d guess. There’s a slight bitterness on the finish just to let you know that you’re sipping on an IPA. As the beer warms up, it gets a slightly fruity quality to it, and it tastes a little more sweet. The mouthfeel on this beer sets it apart from most IPAs that I have had -- like their Closure Pale Ale, this beer has a very silky, drinkable quality. I’m really enjoying Greenbush, and I’m glad to get the chance to taste their stuff. Another awesome beer ... I’m surprised the score on this site is "only" 86.

Just ok. Not a well balanced beer, lacking in taste. Missing something, might need more of a citrusy splash to complete.

12oz bottle from Wine & Brew, shared with robotopera. Mostly hazy darker amber color. Bigger off-white head. Good thicker lace. Nice spicy, hoppy citrusy aroma, light caramel malt. Bigger body. Smooth, softer, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nice moderate bitter, spicy, light to medium sweet malt taste. Tasty IPA with a good malt profile, but a good tropical fruit spiciness too. Delicious.

Deep orange-amber colored body, frothy off-white head, soapy lacing. Floral, grassy, and citric hops. Moderate malt presence. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonations, semi-dry finish with some lingering bitterness.

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grassy and very floral hops with some light caramel and a decent amount of malt. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes with a lot of malt backbone coupled with the good but not bitter hops. Aftertaste shows a nice light hoppy flavour, some light citrus and piney notes and a hit of alcohol and pine to punctuate the flavours. Overall, a nice IPA, but not sublime , still - well worth trying. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan earlier today on 02-August-2013 for US$1.99 ,here in Grosse Ile, Michigan.

This is a very good IPA. It’s a little sweet, both in the aroma and taste, but other than that it is a solid IPA. Nothing really too special... Just a great beer!
