12 oz bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Dark cocoa brown sugar aroma. Cocoa and molasses flavor, cream and light coffee, with touches of raisin. Not bad. markducommun (1180) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2016
Brilliant clear darker mahogany, light tan head. Caramel, light vanilla, some earthy notes. Some nice mild sweetness, a bit of bitterness. Heavier, nice and chewy, a tiny bit of acidity and very light carbonation. Excellent.

Nice dark brown, small beige head. Aroma roasted malt, bitter coffee. Flavor matches, mildly bitter, typical of the style. First beer from Greenbush, tasty. wchesser (2110) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2016
Translucent dark brown. Nose is very light, some prune, burnt caramel. Sweet with dark roast coffee, some chocolate, and caramel. Like the taste but nose is so dead, can’t rate higher. AWISLguy (3224) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 31, 2015
12oz bottle from Beer Bazaar in Hainesville. Brown pour with a beige head. Aroma has cocoa, crackers, light peat and oatmeal. Taste follows, with caramel, not a great blend; the oatmeal clashes with the peat a bit instead of smoothing. Medium to full bodied some alcohol. Finishes sweeter than bitter and tangy. Shrug? Like the brewery, but they can do better than this. 13.2

This poured a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma was of dark fruits, dark chocolate, and booze. Flavor similar, lightly sweet, mildly hot, but pretty well mannered overall and a decent beer. trapped (3372) - New York, TURKEY - SEP 19, 2015
Bottle. Inky black with largish spongy beige head, mocha aroma with a hint of cardamom, low carbonation, slightly sweet mocha taste, long finish with alcohol aftertaste. The alcohol taste has not been fully repressed. drfabulous (8224) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - SEP 11, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Thin to medium body with some roast and chocolate. Nose starts off nice and fades. Decent. thedm (6275) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 23, 2015
This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of foamy light brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a opaque black brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The semi-thick mouth feel was strongly tingly at the start and mediumly tingly at the finish with a lingering dark malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt mild licorice burnt malt brown malt dark malt and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again. Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUL 14, 2015
