COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Helmet is a simple, well-meaning Imperial Blonde Ale. Exactly what you’d expect for a beer that goes by the name Remnar.

Lightly cloudy orange gold, medium white tan head. Sweet banana, coriander, honey. A hint of pine. Slight bitterness, fair amount of spiciness. Fairly sweet. Moderately oily, chewy, medium body. Longer finish. Alcohol is present but not overwhelming. Really like this beer. Better than the sum of its parts.

hotstuff (5273) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 27, 2015
Rated on 7-23-2015. On tap at Acme Bar and Grill, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer has an off-white head with a short retention, hazy golden body, very little carbonation noted, and no lacing. The aroma is citrus, fruity and spicy. The flavor is lightly bitter, citrus hops, earthy, spicy, and malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. A quaffable sipping beer that I would drink again.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated semi-transparent yellow orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was wheat. The crisp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of caramel and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Tap at The Rockery. Aromas are creamy banana, light citrus and light caramel. Tastes the same. Very creamy with some noticeable alcohol but no burn. Very good.

12oz bottle poured into snifter.

Helmet of Remnar pours a cloudy rusty orange with a thick bubbly beige head that lasts a good while. The aroma is biscuit and caramel. The flavor is biscuit and caramel as well with a smooth and buttery mouthfeel. Overall this is a pretty decent beer.

Very sweet aroma, hops and sweet fruit, full bodied and sweet taste, hides the abv well, nice beer

Tap...dark gold pour with a frothy, creamy head. Good combo of hops, yeast, and fruit on the aroma and taste followed that as well. Deceptively easy drinking for a 9.4% ABV...I could have had a few of these.

rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 26, 2015
bottle from 2014 advent calendar. Pale golden with small head. Very citrus forward with some nice spicing. Very light alcohol presence makes this one pretty sneaky.

b3shine (9208) - Indiana, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Draft to taster at the brewpub. Looks good for an imperial blonde ale (which is what it’s listed as at the bar); a mildly hazy golden orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells sweet and yeasty with a touch of caramel. Tastes like it smells, but more bittersweet; not really hoppy though. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Good, not great.

Tap sample. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy sweet citrus, yeast, fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.
