12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/15/2015. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, wheat, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, wheat, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of piney/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, wheat, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy dark wheat ale style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering. rumproasts (5592) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 24, 2014
tap. Coppery amber with small head. Mild malt body with a bit of a hop bite in the finish. Ok, but not much more than that.

From notes. 12 oz bottle shared during a sharing of the Advent Calendar (not finished) on March 15. The pour is a nice clear copper with a thin white film of head and some gorgeous lacing. The aroma is definitely malty; sweet, caramely, but lacking much of another character. The flavor is pretty decent, with the same characters of malty sweetness. Again there isn’t much else going on here, but it’s decent for the style. The mouth feel is slightly creamy, but thin, with a decent carbonation and a dry lingering aftertaste. Draft. A cloudy copper ale with little to no aroma. Taste is a sweet IPA if you can imagine that combo! A bit of a bitter after taste but overall pretty smooth and a good brew.

On tap at a restaurant. Flavor is malty and medium bodied. Malty slightly fruity and bitter finish. Not bad. Good for the style.

Bottle. Pours a copper orange with no real head or lacing to speak of. Aroma of malt, and wheat and taste of the same. Caramel notes as well.

Draft on 4-25-2013 @ 800 Degrees Three Fires - Fort Wayne, IN. The Appearance is a small white head that mostly diminished, no lacing, no visible carbonation, and a transparent body with an amber hue. The Aroma is malt and wheat. Ditto for the Taste along with some caramel. The Palate is smooth and this is a light-medium bodied beer. While quaffable, this beer lacks character, aroma and flavor that left me not ordering another one. DuffMan (10610) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 17, 2013
On tap @ Farmhouse. Hazy new penny copper colour. Sharp hops contrast with silky creamy malts, light vanilla note. Milder profile overall. Intriguing. swigswthwolves (74) - Michigan City, Indiana, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Pours cloudy amber with a very light wheaty aroma. The aroma is nearly nonexistent but not pungent. The color is a brilliant copper which lends itself to the belief that it’s a refreshing sessional brew. Taste is a bit lacking but I do feel wheat is present as is some earth. Leaves an intriguing feeling of satisfaction on the palate which is quite nice. Overall a cut above average and best for a cool summer evening. thedm (6311) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 1, 2013
This draft brew from a restaurant poured a small sized head of finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent red brown colored body. The mild aroma was floral and malty. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of floral hops and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
