Tap, Bill’s beer garden, Ann Arbor MI. Cloudy amber, clove and maple aroma. Sweet, though not cloying. Mellow with a mild finish.

An aroma of charred malt, raisins, dark chocolate. Appears dark brown, almost black and opaque, thin white head and minor lacing. A taste of sweet brown sugar up front followed by bitter dark chocolate and charred toast; the alcohol has a slight warming burn in this. Palate is fizzy and thick, nice.
