Bottle share. Brown color with a small ring of beige head. Aroma is a light roast, earthy bits, and a little Belgian yeast. Taste is a little on the roasty side, lightly sweet, faint spice, and the Belgian yeast again. BuckeyeBoy (8281) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 11, 2016
12oz bottle thanks to rick. Pours out a rusty amber topped with a small head. Nose is rich malts some pit fruit and nice spice. Taste is more of the rich malts some pit fruit and spice. stevoj (5425) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 11, 2016
Bottle share courtesy of Rick. Belgian with nice woody notes. Brown, kind of thin body, soft airy head. Kind of sweet, yeast pulls through. jaymobrown (1845) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 31, 2016
Had this at the brewery, and I enjoyed it. Poured a nice murky brown color and fairly noticeable alcohol, but it was more sweet with yeast, malt flavors rather than heavy hops. markas101 (2487) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - APR 3, 2016
Tap, Bill’s beer garden, Ann Arbor MI. Cloudy amber, clove and maple aroma. Sweet, though not cloying. Mellow with a mild finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Rich malty complex and fruity. Medium body. Good amount of spice. Was worried this would be a weak IPA masquerading as a Belgian when the called it a "Belgian Hybrid " but was pleasantly surprised. flatmatt (1604) - Northville, Michigan, USA - APR 9, 2015
On tap at Seva Detroit. Deep brown pour with a white head. Raisin aroma that’s slightly boozy. Flavor also of raisin, with some toasty malt mixed in there, definitely with a boozy feel to it. Not bad. rdixon77 (2944) - Georgia, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Dark brown pour. Booze, brown sugar, raisins, cherry in the nose. The Taste is a bit more subdued and showcases the yeast. Overall, a cool beer. Petkus331 (389) - Redford, Michigan, USA - APR 8, 2014
An aroma of charred malt, raisins, dark chocolate. Appears dark brown, almost black and opaque, thin white head and minor lacing. A taste of sweet brown sugar up front followed by bitter dark chocolate and charred toast; the alcohol has a slight warming burn in this. Palate is fizzy and thick, nice. Overal, very nice. firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - APR 8, 2014
Tap. Dark brown-black. Lingering, small layer of head. Boozey, bourbon-esque nose. Tastes strongly of booze, raisin, some fig.
