On tap at Ashleys in Ann Arbor. Poured into half pint. Golden color with a finger of head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit hoppiness with bready malt undertones. Flavor is strongly bitter after brief up front malt sweetness. Medium body and carbonation, thin texture, bitter finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of peach, apricot, grapefruit, some slight orange into some slight biscuity notes, touch of vanilla. Taste was a mix of grass, orange, stone fruits into some bread, slight pine, finishing fairly bitter, slightly dry. Nice.

12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass at home, showing a hazed, orangey/gold hue, with a fluffy layer of soft white/light cream colored froth, and foamy cling to the spiraling ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose was orange, with a bit of the zest, pineapple, pit fruit, light sweetness & malt. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was similar, adding a lingering citrus, rind, and a bit of resinous dryness to the bitterness, chased by a hint of booze. The 80 IBUs do make an impression. Close to double status.

Clear amber-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, piney hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft: Clear gold with a small white head. Pine, orange-peel aroma. Fruity, caramel malt, and grapefruit-peel taste. Not bad......an almost Imperial-level body to it.

Hazy, mustard-gold pour with a white head. The aroma has hop resin, with just a hint of grapefruit. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a sharp finish.

In the glass the beer has an amber color with a frothy head. Aroma of candy, hops and some resin. The taste has some mango and pineapple up front then followed by some mild bitterness. Pretty good finish.
