A hot way to cool down Hot. Drenched. Delightfully blinding. Right. We’re not talking about that ball of fire in the sky, but our refreshing hefewiezen. Skip the shade and down a glass or two and be cool.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2017 This is one of the most disappointing beers I’ve ever had. I’m not entirely sure it isn’t spoiled, because it smells horrid and it tastes not so great. I debated not even finishing it and just moving on with me life.

Hazed patina oxidized copper color. Toasted malt and mild clove scents. Looks and smells more like a dunkelweisen. Cloves, light banana and toasted malt and wheat. Very much an Ur-style weiss. Light acidity in the finish and linger. Solid effort. 5/13

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of white fruit, lemon, bread, some slight spice notes into more sweet fruity notes. Taste was a mix of bread, biscuit, lemon, slight white fruits, hints of spice, finishing fairly sweet.

Pretty standard hefeweizen, that’s smooth and easy drinking The palate is mostly sweet and starts with sour grapefruit, banana, and bread crust with a finish that picks up some clove notes.

Pours a clear amber rusty pour with a white head. Nose is grainy and bland . Taste typical of a hefe, grainy, thirst quenching but not packed with any real favors or character. Finishes on the same grainy malty notes. Quaff score 6 / 10..... Rated as a hefe , in fairness

At the brewery and also bought a six pack. Pours a hazy amber, light golden color. Massive white head. Easy drinking and lots of banana, yeast, fruit flavors balanced by a bit of hops.
