Bottle. Golden pour with a creamy off white head. Malt, spices, light fruity hops in the taste and aroma. More full-bodied and flavorful than your average hefeweizen.

Bottle. Light amber body. Frothy white head. Aroma of spice with hints of clove, banana, bubble gum, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning sticky, lively carbonation. Interesting take on the style with some dark malts. A tad too raw grained, leaving an uninviting aftertaste.

Draft:
Cloudy, murky gold with a small, off-white head.
Slightly funky yeast, banana, wheat aroma.
Taste is wheat malt, yeast, sweet orange-banana....almost like a saison, overall.
Very soft...nice.

Aroma of cereal, banana, clove, and slight cinnamon. Hazy body with a solid white head. Taste is slight sweetness balanced by a gentle spicy bitterness. Mouthfeel is a little fuller and creamier than most hefeweizens. Overall, an enjoyable experience but not superb.

Bottle from Binny’s in Bloomingdale, IL. Slightly hazy orange pour with a white head. Aroma of banana and mild spice. Taste brings in a bit of copper, which isn’t welcome. This is just okay.

Tap: Murky apple juice pour, muddled & rusty. Soapy, bone-white layer of foam to top it off; quick to recede. Big hefe yeast notes on the aroma; clove, soft bubblegum, milled wheat, delicate spices. Very estery, heaps of banana, orange zest, a touch of lemon rind. Grassiness is present & grows in strength over the course o the glass. A little back-end sugary sweetness. A little more watery on the palate than I prefer my hefes. Lots of musky hoppage, more than the aroma would lead on; still maintains low bitterness. Banana & clove esters are still there, just a little more toned down. Coriander, mint, bready spice, esters, & residual sweetness. I actually get a strange, damp funkiness in the back-end, especially nearing the end of the glass. Borderline musky cellar-ish. Strange? Otherwise a nice beer. Good summertime quaffer... The nose outshines everything else, though.

Aroma is spices, wheat and a hint of pumpkin. The flavor is citrus, spices, fruit, wheat, a hint of pumpkin and a tart/tangy finish.

Poured into an appropriate drinking vessel (and certainly without a twist), this has a dark straw, somewhat brownish body with a tall off-white head. It’s got an aroma of ripe bananas with a touch of bubblegum. The taste added a quiet flavor of inexpensive wheat bread (and I don’t mean that in a bad way) and mayhaps a drop of lemon juice at the end. All in all, this is fairly decent warm weather brew that I wouldn’t refuse. (And yes, this ol’ juice hound does sometimes refuse a drink.)

Draft. Pours a dark orangish color. Aroma is bananas and malt. Taste is sweet with some bitterness.

Clear amber with a thin white head. Flavor has some good traditional Hefe, Banana, clove, wheat but some mild citrusy hops are a welcomed note. Good.
