12 oz bottle...pours an amber brown with a nice creamy tan head. Malt and yeasty esters combine to make this a complex yet nuanced beer. An outstanding American hefewiezen!

Pours a cloudy orangish brown with a 1 finger head. Dark color for the style I think. Great aroma of banana, clove and spice. Taste matches the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium with low carbonation. One of the best of this style I have ever had. My only complaint is that it does not look as refreshing as others. Great beer though. I will certainly buy more. If you like this style, you should really try this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy orange amber color with a nice 3 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pear, orange peel, banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat, floral, pepper, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of malt and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, orange peel, banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat, pepper, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, banana, pear, clove, bubblegum, wheat, pepper, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish fore a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of malt and yeast ester flavors; with a great fruity/spicy ester balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a creamy and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a really excellent hefeweizen! All around nice balance and complexity of malt and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. Really enjoyed this one; this is one of the better American made Hefeweizens I have had.

Pint at Copper Canyon Brewery. (they were only selling only one of their own beers.). Hazy mid gold with a white layer. A nice and flassic aroma with banana and cloves. A sharper bitter bite from grapefruit hs also brings sourness. Soon banana and clove are tasted but the hops remain.

Pours a bright golden with a smooth white head that lingers. The aroma is very Belgian. There is spices, banana, wheat, and orange. It has a very bubblegum like aspect to it as well. The taste is dominated by banana throughout. There are undertones of orange and spices. Long aftertaste of banana. Light to medium in body, creamy in texture, with some soft, rather subtle carbonation. Although I wouldn’t call this one refreshing, it is smooth and very easy to drink. I enjoyed this one. However, it would help to like this if you don’t mind the major dose of banana in here.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed orange color with a small white head. Aroma of pineapple, bubble gum, banana. Flavor is quenching, lots of nice hefe yeast notes and rich yeast. Plenty of banana and fruit notes. Medium bodied, nice carbonation, finishes clean and fresh. Nice.

Bottle to taster. Looks solid; a cloudy dark oranve with fluffy off-white head. Smells of mild banana and clove. Tastes like it smells, only more robust.nice and smooth on the palate. Enjoyable.

12oz bottle 6/7/13 (Binny’s Downers Grove Mix a Six)-40° in Weizen Glass-Pours a cloudy yellowish orange with a two finger off white head. Aroma of wheat, clove, and banana. Taste of the same with more banana. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. This hefe kicks ass from an American brewery.
