DuffMan (10549) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 24, 2017
On tap @ Radio Maria. Slightly hazy pale gold with a low white head that vanishes quickly. Sweet pale cereal flavour, a little chewy, with low bitterness. Pretty bland, and what’s with the 6.1%?

wlajwl (6942) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 18, 2017
Aroma is pale malts, mild/medium corn sweetness and slightly perfumed. The flavor is pale malts, hops, mild corn sweetness and a mix of bitter and malts in the finish.

Bottle: Clear gold with a thin white head. Corn, sugar, grain scent. Taste is sweet creamed corn, vanilla, grain malt. A little sharp, but pretty decent, overall.

I dunno... might call this sort of a craft malt liquor going by taste. It’s not all gross with fucked up fermentation character but it’s sweet and thick and heavy like a malt. I guess that’s okay. There’s a bit of a nice Pilsnerish hop character going on and aside from being all syrupy sweet it has an okay doughy malt character too. It’s mildly carbonated too which increases the feeling of heaviness. Knock this bad boy down to 4.5% and you might have a winner.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden. Small white head. Aroma is mild. Flavor is sweet grain/corn. No aftertaste. Nothing bad about this, but nothing really jumps out either. An adequate session-able beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 7/21/2016. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that last. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of wheat, cracker, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of wheat, cracker, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of wheat, cracker, biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly drying after the finish. Very clean for an ale, minimal fruity yeast presence. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.1%. Overall this is a very nice Blonde ale. All around nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, clean, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Rated on 7-23-2015 at Acme Bar and Grill, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer is presented with a very small white head, hazy pale yellow body, very little carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is yeast, citrus hops, grassy, and malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops and malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A drinkable beer but there is not much to it for aroma and flavor.

On tap at brewpub. Quite creamy. A bit full flavored for a cream ale but that’s not a bad thing. A bit bland but a really solid lighter ale.

Aroma of bread and doug, not much going on on the flavor here a little bread and vanilla

thedm (6278) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 26, 2015
This draft brew from a beer bar poured a small sized head of quickly diminishing finely sized white colored bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The aroma was mild with a slight malt hop note. The palate was tingly from start to finish with a slight astringency in the finish. The flavor was mostly malt hop with a crisp hoppy aftertaste. An OK beer for perhaps a session at the bar.
