Some pumpkin aroma, but I agree with an earlier post. This has a soapy component to the aroma. Body and pumpkin spice are underwhelming. markas101 (2483) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 7, 2016
Tap, Bill’s beer garden, Ann Arbor, MI. Cloudy amber. Hop caramel aroma. Sweet. Ginger and honey. Deep malt finish. Mark_Eck (1998) - - JUL 10, 2016
Bottle. Pours a reddish color. Aroma and taste are pumpkin and lots of spices. Strangebrewer (1328) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2016
bottle 7.3%. Poured hazy red-amber with a skim head. Sweet malty aroma with some spice. Medium body, lower carbonation, a bit sticky lingering finish. Grainy malts with sweet toffee and pumpkin pie spice, peppery and a little tart

Pours a clear amber from the bottle with a thick off white head. Aroma is caramel, nuts and grain. Medium sweetness on the tongue offset by medium bitterness. Spice and caramel in the mouth, medium-bodied, creamy with lively carbonation and a bitter back end. This is a decent pumpkin ale, a little on the heavy side for this style, I think, but decent and noteworthy. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - SEP 7, 2015
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, biscuit, bread, hints of spice, cinnamon, touch of clove. Taste was a mix of carfamel, toffee, slight earth into lots of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg into more sweet fruity notes, finishing fairly spicy. jcr (2719) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - FEB 6, 2015
Bottle. Amber body with a fizzy, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Sharp aroma of pumpkin spices — all spice, cinnamon, clove. Notes of wood and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, sticky texture, moderate carbonation. Lots of alcohol in the taste along with mounds of pumpkin pie spices that could, indeed, kill a unicorn. TheBear11D (365) - Michigan, USA - NOV 9, 2014
The Unicorn Killer pours a clear bronze color with a thick light tan head that lasts a good while. The aroma is a sharp citrus with pumpkin and spices. The flavor is also citrus with pumpkin and spices. Overall this is a nice beer. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - OCT 28, 2014
On tap at Seven Monks in Traverse City. This is the best pumpkin/spice beer I have had. It is big and bold. Wonderful dark maroon pour with a wonderful spicy nose. Taste is bold spice with a hint of pumpkin. Body is thick. Overall this beer packs a punch, will get again.
