Clear copper with tan head. Aroma of caramel malts. Tastes light caramel sweet with a little hop bitterness to balance, some wooden or nutty notes. Simple, but good.

Cask. Smooth amber coloured fruity ale. Toffee & caramel malt backbone. Woody, grassy hops. Good malt/hop balance. Easy drinking. Sessionable.

Cask at Dandelion, Philadelphia. Colour is clear orange with almost no head. Aromas and flavours: Harshness, some ripe fruits, tartness and some malts. Pretty old condition.

On cask at the Corryvreckan, Oban. Pours a clear dark amber, with a short lived white head which leaves lacing. Not much on the nose - in fact nothing at all. No, wait, there’s a wee bit of sweet maltiness. Taste is soft, light sweet caramel malt, floral hops, very traditional hop notes in the finish ie medium bitterness, slightly metallic, nothing fruity). Palate is the best thing about this beer - it’s refreshing, rounded, and clean in the finish. A very solid traditional beer.

Cask at Woollen Mill, Hungry Horse pub, Darlington. Deep amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and slight malty yeasty aroma. Taste is fruity, malt, sweetish, bready with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

Palme (4825) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2016
From cask @ The Diamond, Londonderry. This one has a darker golden colored body, a bit of a blur and in the top a relatively medium sized cask bubbly off-white head. It smells quite good. Kinda floral and grassy. Sweet diacetyl, white sugar. Nice in a cask way. Tastes decent also. It’s really creamy and smooth both in the mouth any on the bubbles. Mild bitter, some birch. A little sweet yeasty melony thing in the finish. Wood also, and I could swear I tasted alcohol in the aftertaste. Nice enough this. Easy to chug down for a thirsty guy. 07.06.2016

Bebum (1097) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 20, 2016
Very cloudy amber, some lace. Earthy nose. Medium body, little flavor, flat but smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation, avg length. Hint of bitterness, no acidity, hidden sweetness. Simple fruity flavor, tangerine, yeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
