Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2017
Half pint, cask at Compleat Angler. Bubbly white head, next to clear amber body. Fair lacing. Restrained aroma of herbal hops. Ripe fruity hops to the taste profile added by pale malts, semi-sour. Dry endnotes. Not in its best condition at the pub and no good with the fish and chips (Norwich 10.07.2017).

Cokemonkey11 (1123) - - JUN 28, 2017
On cask at a Greene King pub. Pours pale almond and transparent with a medium white foam residing. Scent is light notes of soapy malt. Taste is surprisingly clean, mature ale. Classic. Very good.

amhart88 (139) - Manchester, Lancashire, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2017
A nice floral ale. Hints of citrus - grapefruit, tangerine, quite sweet. Amber in colour with a thin head. Quite a subtle one on the whole but nice.

jjsint (3604) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2015
Cask at the Royal Standard, Ely. Dark gold/copper. Extremely thin white head and lacing. Clear. Flowery/fruity aroma, not very enticing. There is a slight metallic scent as well. Taste improves a bit, sweet with caramel and orange notes. Very basic and not the best beer in the world, but it’ll do.

olsvammel (7312) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUN 20, 2014
On tap at Turf Tavern in Oxford. Labeled as Westgate Ale Fresco. Fruity and flowery with a light citrus. Similar taste. Slightly sweet. Could have used more hops to balance the sweetness.

Pint at the Green Dragon Ryhall. amber with white head. Fruity first hit, then not much. Had a soapy aftertaste

scotty (1232) - SCOTLAND - JUN 20, 2013
Cask, labelled as Westgate (?) Ale Fresco, ’Spoons Hawick. Just been for a 7 mile walk in scorching heat, this is going down a treat! Medium body, lovely fruity hops, good malt presence, long finish. I’d have another but I’ve a bus to catch!

RichTheVillan (8443) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2013
Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; hazy goden amber pout with small white head, malty aroma, sweet malt taste with a bitter dry finish.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2013
On cask at New Bazaar, Dumfries. Pours amber with white head. Fruity first hit, then average dull beer. Not good.
