A nice floral ale. Hints of citrus - grapefruit, tangerine, quite sweet. Amber in colour with a thin head. Quite a subtle one on the whole but nice. Sigmund (7912) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 29, 2005
Cask conditioned at the Baron of Beef, Cambridge. Was also available at the Cambridge Beer Festival. Deep golden colour, low head. Nice refreshing hoppiness throughout, citrussy elements in aroma and flavour. Decent.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2008 Handpulled cask at the Speckled Hen, St. Albans. Gold with creamy white head. Nice fruity, citrussy flavour with a subble hoppy finish. One of GKs better offerings. Score 3.2. RE-RATE: I’ve just tried this beer again at JDW Stanmore. A fresh barrel tasted better with improved hop chacture and conditioning. Went down very well Leighton (22302) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2011

Cask @ Montagu Pyke, JDW. Pours a clear golden amber, with a small off white head. Dominated by mandarin, orange, peach, toffee, caramel, lemon and a slightly floral kick in the aroma. Quite nice. Jonb5 (568) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2013
Pint, from the cask.
A: Bronze, copper, clear, small taned head, some retention.
S: Floral, had to think of Saaz hops.
T: Phenol, berries on the turn, finish slightly bitter and wheaty. Like some other Greene King beers it reminded me of a Belgian Pale Ale.
M: Smooth, light body.
O: Lots of depth for a bitter, very decent.
