11/7/2009 1:10:36 PM Cask at JDW, Heathrow, Term 4. Slight amber with no head. Sour nose. Sour taste and quite watery texture. Didn’t finish it. I wonder if I got a bad batch reading the other ratings... greenmanalishi (547) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2014
Hazy pour. Some biscuit backing and grapefruit, zesty bite. Not the best balance and an oily consistency. AWS9 (699) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2014
Cask. Hazy honey pour with a frothy head. Nice hoppy, spicy aroma. Some honey, caramel, sugar, to go along with a solid malt backing. Touch of fruit too. A bit sticky in the mouthfeel... but ultimately excellent. jd543 (428) - SCOTLAND - SEP 28, 2013
Deep amber-brown colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel and biscuit malt, some spice, some citrus and a nice hoppy finish. Light sweet with a light bitter finish. Oily texture, light carbonation. Good.

4.1% deep amber colour with a good creamy head, malt aroma, caramel malt taste, very good beer. tombyars (1691) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - DEC 28, 2011
Tasted this in Tennents Bar, Glasgow in October 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Dry dusty hop flowers in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a weak digestive base with tart redcurrant fruit which is quite short. Dry hop resins give a tart metallic tang in the long aftertaste. Astringent hop resins present in the dusty dry finish. An ok autumnal ale but better examples are out there.
