COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Previously known as The Beer To Dine For.
Brewed to complement food, we use the lightest malts and Tettnang hops to achieve the unique pale golden colour, crisp taste and dry finish. This unique blend makes Hop the ideal accompaniment to spicy dishes, seafood and poultry. The Tettnang hops, imported from Washington State and Oregon, give the beer its soft melon aroma and complete the dry finish.
Bottles have been sterile filtered since May 2006.

RLB YEHA 05. Very unique beer in that it is brewed with german hops for an english golden ale. Also held up pretty well despite the clear bottle. Pours very clear and golden with an ok head but fades. Aroma is very herbal and lightly spicy with a slight breadiness in the end from the malt. The noble hops come through again in the flavor- slightly earthy but more of a floral earthy and not woodsy like some other english hops. I really think the tettnang is a good choice for a golden ale- it kinda brings this one closer to a kolsch.

Thanks to IMthe Optimator at Yeha ’05. No head. Clear yellow pilsner-like color with an aroma of malts. Tastes was a clean hop flavor with a bit of pine. Not bad.

12.10.05 goofy bottle, RLB YEHA-05 Clear yellow with white foam of large, soapy bubbles. Aroma is hinting at spruce, but with touches of stale dead grass. I only wish I had a spicy poultry dish to pair this with because it just wasn’t very tasty by itself. Sweat and cucumber plus grass and cheerios. Huh, this is some odd stuff. Finishes acidic and dry.

bottle at Richlikebeer’s YEHA ’05. gimmicky bottle shape and label, not to my liking. served with the venison chili. clear gold color, foamy white head. skunky sour hop aroma. watery, dry & sweet flavor, skunky and grassy hop too. sorry, not my bag!

Poured a pale gold with an off-white head. Aroma of clean pine and grass hops. Taste is light and clean, dominated by pine hops. Easy-drinking and would make a nice light session.

hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 12, 2005
Nice clear bottle proudly displaying its light golden color (when I saw this on the table of beers at Rich’s Yeha, I thought it was a cider until I read the label). Poured with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of grass with a light malty sweetness. Thin body.

Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2005
Bottle from Sainsburys. Pale gold, high carbonation. Light aroma, slightly sweet and a touch stale. Flavour is thin malt, boiled sweets, stale and somewhat bitter, weak hopping levels. Stupid light struck beer.

Golden orange color, head diminishing quickly, light sweet flavor, slightly bitter, too carbonated, but its an okay beer
