This has low marks, not sure why. I enjoyed the toffee, caramel and roasted flavors. I thought it was smooth and easy to drink if a bit watery.

It may not be a beer that screams and shouts anything in particular, but if I was forced to choose one beer to drink for the rest of my life, I might well choose this one, because it has this thing called subtlety. It’s drinkable, refreshing, has no overpowering notes that make you feel you’ve had enough after the second pint. It has great aroma and subtle flavours which will grow on you.

Sweet and sour yeasty aroma. Dark Amber. Creamy off-white head. Sweet through to a light bitterness. However the more I drink the more sugary it seems to get. Light bodied. Watery with a dish water finish. Really quite crap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tinaccio (390) - Milano, ITALY - JUL 8, 2017
On cask in a pub near St Paul Cathedral, London, UK. It pours clear amber, with a minimum white head. Aroma is malt and caramel, notes of toffee. Taste is... ? Which taste? Light bitter, not good. Body is light, carbonation is flat. Overall terrible.

On tap (not cask). Nose: lager-like, metallic. Taste: herbal, watery, slight grassy bitterness.

On cask at The Albert, Lark Labe, Liverpool. C olour is copper brown. Smell is very faint hope, the same with the taste really. If you are thirsty then you might want to have this one. Really is a bit disappointing as a beer.

Zbytocna polittrova falska z Lidlu. IPA to ani nevidelo, pena ziadna, farba cudna, horkost nikde, ani ako limonada nedoporucujem.

huineman (691) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 3, 2017
Half pint at The Nicholas Culpeper, Gatwick North Terminal. Pours sparkling (even bubbly) amber to orange. Off-white head is scarce and lasts a blink. Aroma is very low: poor leather, horse blanket, pork lard... On the good side there’s honey, rosemary and caramel. Mouthfeel is soft, watery, light, dry, fresh, low-carb. Abrupt finish. Not my cup’o’tea.

Dal9000 (633) - Ohio, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Green king IPA. Pulled not poured. British pub. Pours copper with little carbonation. Caramel taste with no apparent hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

tfredvik (1948) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 16, 2017
Pours a hazy amber body with a small white head. No lacing. Rather faint aroma of baker’s yeast and light hoppy perfume. Moderate flavour of perfume, flowers, caramel and baker’s yeast. Mid-bodied, watery, very close to flat carbonation. A strange one.
[half pint from cask @ The Red Lion, Little Missenden, Buckinghamshire]
