bozz (9) - Zadar, CROATIA - MAY 30, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2017 0.5 l bottle bought at supermarket. Aroma- malt and grain, hops in traces. Appearance - dark golden, light white head, small amount of lacing. Taste - grains mostly with scent of hops. Not too bitter aftertaste, low carbonation, watery dry taste. I would never call this IPA.

This is not an IPA. I don’t what it is but it’s complete and utter filth. Avoid at all costs.

Can from Sainsbury’s. Faintly malty nose, medium light body, minerally-bitter flavor with some malty sweetness. Noble hop flavor not evident, but packs a lot of body and flavor in a 3.6% beer.

The dominant aroma is dough but with a caramel malt. Copper orange/red appearance, minimal head, clear but with light carbonation. Mild to medium bitterness (but a strong hopped taste) but balanced with the right amount of sweetness. Good on the palate - the carbonation is about right. Very drinkable low abv bottled bitter.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear copper pour with one finger off-white head, quickly diminishing. Little to no lacing. Faint nose, undefined, a bit grainy, a bit cardboard, slightly herbal. Thin body with high carbonation. Regular texture. Moderately bitter taste. Aroma is faint and generic. A bit grainy, traces of hops. Cardboard. Slightly grassy and herbal. Wood notes. Mostly bland and unimpressive. Watery and thin - small wonder considering the amazingly low ABV. Overall, meh. Drinkable, but pointless. Boring effort.

Off white fluffy head stayed on a translucent, slightly effervescent copper coloured body. Sweet fruit & caramel aroma with hints of hops. Thin bodied, prickly on the palate. Crisp. Sweet with caramel to the fore with tangy bitter finish.

Courtesy of Ek.

E ovo sam prosuo. Nepitko. Šteta. Pivo izgleda jako lijepo. Divna boja. Imaju i novu etiketu. Na ovoj slici je stara etiketa.

A very nice session real ale with a good balance of hops and malt. I enjoyed it and would happily drink it again. Nothing spectacular and it could be said to be slightly watery, but drinkable. You don’t always want to drink 8% IPAs and stouts!!!!
