Not bad for one of the most generic real ales going. The sort of one you see going in a franchise pub or a huge mock Tudor pub off a slip road as a "hey look, we sell real ale now TAKE IT" option while children scrike and run around the place and the polite but thick waitress tells you the chef’s gone off even though it’s not yet 2pm. All I can currently think of it is a template of an IPA, which isn’t a bad thing. No, the reason Greene King IPA is a bad thing is that they close down smaller breweries. Also, I kept this in a can once for over a year before resorting to it, and the result was a completely ridiculously festy expired brew, which I used to scare my mates with before pouring down the sink.

Copper color, small head. Aroma malt, fruits, spicess. Taste caramel, spices, watery body.

50 cl bottle from Suerstore in Wokingham, sampled on June 17, 2017.
Clear copper to light brown color, medium sized off-white head with a bit of lacing. Malty, sweet, a bit sugary taste. Medium and fizzy mouthfeel, medium to medium low bitterness. Malty, some biscuit scent.

Melko tasapaksu maku. Väri upean ruskea ja melko tumma. Ohiesta mausta huolimatta aika pitkä ja tuhti jälkimaku. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled 050L. dark amber color, limpid and softly lively aspect with discreet head duration. Bitterish woody notes, soft roast cereals. Medium prickly taste, moderate alcoholic mouth with nice bitterish final.

LazyPyro (1206) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2017
Clear amber colour, thin white head. Aroma: malty, caramel, fruity, slightly skunky. Taste: sweet malt, fruity, caramel, mild bitter finish, missing hops? Body is light, moderate carbonation. Well, very boring. Worst IPA I’ve ever had; seriously lacking in the hop department, no definition of IPA would fit this beer. Poor effort.

funcut (647) - SIBENIK, CROATIA - JUN 8, 2017
Kupljeno u lidlu...grozno pivo vodenasto okusa...uopce ne slici na pivo a kamoli na IPA... Totalno prazan okus....bez alkohola, bez gorcine, bez mirisa i okusa

F: big, egg-white, almost average retention. C: deep amber, clear. A: malty, light citrus, fruity, bready, bit of orange. T: malty, caramel, fruity, almost no bitterness, hint of grassy, light body, medium carbonation, sure not IPA and award winning beer hm.., hard to average, not easy drinking, 0,5l bottle from Sainsbury’s Local shop, Baker street, London.

Wendigo (492) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 5, 2017
0.5l bottle. Malty aroma, caramel notes. Light hazy amber color, white head. Malty taste, caramel, light to medium bitter. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation and malty, light bitter finish with caramel notes. Definitely not an IPA, can´t find any hops traces, probably the reason to be listed here as a bitter. Poor.
