Cask. Pale golden pour with a thick creamy white head. The nose is lightly spicy and fruity with a nice toasty malt base. Has a little bit of nice fruity character and a touch of pepper. Has a bit of soft hoppiness on the back. Pretty nice. fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 9, 2012
Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus; just tappedSilkTork (5777) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2012
Hazy blond color, with sparse head. The aroma I light, with whispers of malt, toffee and manure. Crispy malt flavor, with some toffee; dry but smooth mouthfeel; good hopping with just a grassy hint.
Very fresh, light, drinkable.
Kings Head, Bexley. Served in perfect condition.A decent, hoppy beer. Well made, no fuss, no off-flavours - just does what it says on the tin. A professionally made beer, and it shows. I could drink more of this. Bears no relation to the standard GK IPA. This is drinkable stuff. wheresthepath (2352) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2012
[Cask at the Hinds Head, Bray, Berkshire - thanks to my wife for taking me!] Light amber with a moderate white head and a light, frothy carbonation. A mellow, fruity beer with orange and lemon flavours. Very comforting and happy-feeling, and a pleasant surprise coming from Greene King! maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Lion & Lobster Brighton 22/05/12. A vivid orange gold coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. Decent citrussy Summery hops with oranges and lemons. The malt backbone is OK and there’s only a hint of the GK house yeast. Served too warm which is a shame as this is a decent golden ale which proves that GK can brew good beer when they try.

Cask @ The Jolly Knight. Rochester. A rare thing , a Greene King beer that I enjoyed and was content being subjected to a session of. A rather hoppy, zesty and fruity golden ale , mildly sweet. HenrikSoegaard (14291) - Randers, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2012
Cask. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Honey and flowery notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Theydon_Bois (20162) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2012
Cask at the ’Quinns Head’ pub inside Twickenham Stoop Rugby ground during half time of the Harlequins vs London Welsh game - 07/09/12.
Clear golden with a medium white head that retains well.
Floral hops in the aroma, citrus notes and slightly perfumed. Not as much of that usual GK smell!
Tastes of hops, apricot, passion fruit, a decent mix of tropical fruits for GK, sweet malts.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending to a sweetish dry finish. Leighton (21839) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 6, 2012
Cask at the Red Lion, Twickenham, London. A rare GK beer! Pours clear, yellow-gold with a tight, white cream head. Nose is all sunny straw with nips of lemon. Has a lightly sweet flavor with plenty of biscuity malts, light dough and some sweet lemon and light lime, too. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Very good condition. Mild sweetness on the finish with lightly toasted dough, white sugar, wimpy lemon and other citrus, and some faintly tangy grass. It’s a pretty standard golden ale, but it does refresh a good bit. , walsall. Gold colour with large white creamy head that had great lacing. Looks very nice. Very faint citrus aroma. Taste is of mild hops and hints of citrus. Tastes slightly stronger than Greene King IPA, whic isn’t hard to do. The palate is excellent, very smooth and creamy. Overall a good beer, the weakness in taste lets it down a bit though. Very easy to drink.
